YOTO Carnegies 2024 - nominations announced

Formerly know as the CILIP Carnegie and Greenaway Awards, the YOTO Carnegies celebrate the best in Children's and YA fiction and illustrated books.  Every year, students and staff from EPHS, 'shadow' the Carnegie Medal, now the Medal for Writing, and read the shortlisted books alongside the judges, voting for our favourite.

The nominations for both medals have now been announced, some of which we have in the Libraries for you to borrow.  Shadowing will commence in March, when the short lists are announced, and the winners will be announced in June.  Carnegie Shadowing is one of the highlights for us and we are really looking forward to taking part again next year!
