BookFlix - it’s better than NetFlix!

With the new term about to begin, it’s time to swap Netflix for BookFlix!  We have some great new books waiting for you to borrow from the Library!

Reading is Magic Festival with Cressida Cowell

The Children’s Laureate and much loved author of the How to Train Your Dragon books, Cressida Cowell, is heading up this virtual reading festival which takes place between the 28th September and 2nd October.

It features a wealth of authors and illustrators and families and schools can sign up for free to enjoy streamed sessions and take part in live Q&As.

A quick tour of the EPHS Lower Library for our new Year 7 students

We have put together a short video introducing the EPHS Lower Library, to give you an idea about what the Library has to offer and how you can borrow books.

Due to Covid restrictions, we will be operating slightly differently from September.  You will come to the Library once a fortnight for one of your English Lessons but for the time being you will be unable to browse the shelves.  Instead we will be offering a ‘Click and Collect’ service and you will be able to select books by using our Library Management System, Oliver, or by filling in a questionnaire to let us know what sort of books you like to read.
