🎅 Crisis at Christmas 2019 🎄

Thousands of people will be homeless at Christmas.

Inspired by our colleagues at TRS, this year, the staff at EPHS, choose to make a donation to the Crisis this Christmas appeal instead of sending Christmas cards and raised £133. 

In addition, Mr Shuttleworth’s amazing Student Leadership students organised and funded a cake sale and raised £190. Bringing the grand total raised to £323. 

This will reserve 11 places in a Crisis shelter this Christmas.

The Christmas break is a great opportunity to

or try reading one of the books that inspired the films that will be shown on TV over Christmas?  School Librarian, Helen Smith, has compiled her fantastic annual list of Christmas book and film tie-ins that are on TV over the Christmas period

If you are looking for a great read, why not check out the WBD Writes of Passage, the ultimate list of 50 books that will change YOUR life.  

Originally compiled in 2014, there are some cracking reads, including The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness and George Orwell's 1984, all of which are available to borrow from the Library.
