Reading Bingo Challenge

Are you up for a challenge with a chance to win prizes and achievement points?  Then why not try the Library's Reading Bingo Challenge!

Simply read a book that matches the categories on our Reading Bingo sheet, fill in the challenge form and be prepared to talk about what you have read.

You WIN PRIZES and ACHIEVEMENT POINTS for a completed row in any direction (horizontal, diagonal or vertical) by reading 4 different books, or, a full house, by reading 16 books!  Don’t forget to check out the reading lists and genre tabs on Oliver or ask your friends, Librarians and teachers for recommendations. See below for some reading recommendations by Miss Peters.

To take part, collect a ‘Reading Bingo’ sheet and challenge form from the Library during your English Library Lesson.

I'm delighted to announce that the first person to complete a full house in the Reading Bingo Challenge is Tommy-Lee in Year 9.   Having successfully read 16 books, as well as the pens, chocolate and achievement points that he has won along the way, Tommy Lee has received a £10 National Book Token to spend on a book of his choice. Many congratulations!

Welcome back!  We hope you had a great Easter break and were able to find time to read.

If you've read a great book recently that you would like to share, why not contribute a book review using Padlet? To find out how, ask Mrs Nolan and Ms Peters.  We love receiving your reviews and spreading the word about a great read!
