Fully Booked Quiz at Bromley Central Library

Last Friday afternoon we took a small group of our Year 8 students to Bromley Central Library to take part in this year's Fully Booked Quiz.   The quiz is an annual event run by the Bromley Libraries Children’s Librarian team for schools in the local area. This year EPHS was one of six schools taking part.

There were 7 rounds of questions on children's literature, including including one round on a chosen book.  This year the book was Red Stars by Davide Morosinotto - an historical novel set in Russia at the start of the second world war told in diary form.

Congratulations to Langley Girls for their win and to our team Jemmimah, Beau, Lucas, Riley, Bakshish and Matilda for coming a close fourth!  All of the team members received a copy of Red Stars to keep and were awarded a certificate and book, The Secret Sunshine Project by Benjamin Dean, which they have kindly donated to the Lower Library!

The team loved the chosen book and had a great time taking part in the quiz - they all agreed that they would love to go back next year!
