World Sleep Day 2021

Today is World Sleep Day and the teenage brain woman, Nicola Morgan, offers some excellent scientifically based advice for teenagers and adults on how to get a good nights sleep.

As well as a five-step sleep plan and list of sleep negatives and positives, Nicola's top tip is to read before you sleep! Not only is this a great trigger for your brain to get ready for sleep but is also a way of switching your mind off from worries.

Nicola's book The Awesome Power of Sleep is available to borrow from the Library along with many of her other wellbeing books for teenagers.
