Awesome AuthorFest - Robin Stevens Virtual Visit

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, our Year 7 students were given the opportunity to listen to Robin Stevens, author of the phenomenally successful Murder Most Unladylike series of books.

Robin talk about her books, her writing process and her inspiration, in particular her love of Agatha Christie books and the 1930s.  She also announced that she is writing a brand new series of books called The Ministry of Unladylike Activity due out in 2022.

This event was organised by Authors Aloud UK as part of their Awesome AuthorFest and delivered as a webinar via Zoom.  A recording of this event will be available for you to watch again from Monday for up to a month.  To buy a signed copy of Robin's books, Murder Most UnladylikeFirst Class MurderCreams Buns & CrimeDeath Sets Sail following this link - https://spaldingbooks.square.site/

The Murder Most Unladylike series and books by Robin Stevens are available to borrow from the EPHS Library.  Robin said that all her books can be read as standalone titles but she recommended reading Murder Most Unladylike, the first book in the series, or First Class Murder first and suggest leaving Death Sets Sail, the final book in the series to last.

Finally, if you can't wait until 2022 for a new Robin Stevens murder mystery series, a short story collection called Once Upon A Crime is coming out in August!
