2022 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. The first book in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was first published on 26th June 1997. The Harry Potter books have been translated into over 80 languages and if all the books from the series ever sold were placed end to end they would go over 16 times round the equator.
