Hilary Mantel has won the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction for The Mirror and the Light, the final book in the multi award winning Thomas Cromwell trilogy.

This is the second time Mantel has won the award, having previously won in 2010 for Wolf Hall, her first book in this trilogy.  Wolf Hall and Bringing up the Bodies, the second book in the Trilogy, have both previously won the Booker Prize.
