World Book Day is a day set aside each year to celebrate reading, books, authors and illustrators. This year it takes place on Thursday 5th March.
At EPHS, there will be a wide range of fun activities, competitions and displays to promote reading for pleasure throughout the school, including Drop Everything And Read, and the Library's brilliant Match the Teacher to the Book competition. Collect your entry form from the Library - there are prizes to be won!
The World Book Day £1 tokens have also been distributed to students and these can be exchanged for one of the free World Book Day books, or put towards the purchase of any book costing £2.99, or more in participating shops.
You can use your voucher in any participating books shop until Sunday, 29th March 2020.
We are also looking for some brilliant book reviews to post on the Library Blog - ask one of your Librarians for a template. Don’t forget our regular Word of the Week competition too!
Happy reading!
