EPHS Library Services

It was really encouraging that so many of you have borrowed books to keep you going until we return to school.  Remember that you can also download free eBooks, eComics or audiobooks via the OneDrive or Libby App as well as a member of your local public libraryIf you have any queries about this service do give your local public library a call and they will be able to advise you.  For Bromley Libraries contact details please click here.

We will still be running our Word of the Week competition and will be posting the winning words on the Library blog each week, with words chosen from the multitude of entries that we have already received.  Prizes will be awarded to the winning entrants when we return to school.

We would love you to send us book reviews and will be awarding achievement points and posting them on the Library blog or tweeting them as usual. The Book Trust website offers some excellent tips and advice on how to write a book review.  To view click here.  There will also be prizes available for particularly good reviews.  Simply email your review to Mrs Nolan at cnolan@eph.e21c.co.uk.

For those of you who will be working on your creative writing, The Book Trust website also provides brilliant hints and tips for writing, including advice from authors.  To view click here.

We hope you stay safe and well and make time to escape into a good book.  You may like to check out the blog post by Ms Roberts, the Librarian at TRS on Covid-19 and your mental health.
