Celebrating Black History Month at EPHS

October is Black History Month and to celebrate, the History Department are running a number of events, including film club, competitions and Year Group assemblies.

Departments have also recommend their favourite books, including Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman, The Color Purple by Alice Walker and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, most of which are available to borrow and browse from the Library.

The Library is celebrating Black History Month by highlighting some amazing Black British poets and writers, including Malorie Blackman, Alex Wheatle, Patrice LawrenceBenjamin Zephaniah and Adisa, whose fantastic books you can browse and borrow.
